Vaughn Benjamin the Akae Beka released today, April 1st 2016, his new album ‘Portals’ on I Grade Records.

Vaughn Benjamin (Midnite) assumed the mantle of Akae Beka, the sacred oath named in the Book of Enoch, for his new roots project. Portals is the second album under this name, after last year’s Homage to the Land.

An album full of spirituality and messages of love, still with Benjamin’s Rastafari rawness mixed with Coursey’s guitar work, Tippy Alfred and I Grade Records, and the Zion I Kings production team on St. Croix making the music instantly memorable.
